I started playing in 2010 as a guest, then I made my account (epicmoon300165) in 2012. When I started playing as a guest, I didn't know how to read, but when I made my account, I knew how to read (for the most part). I noticed that a lot of games that were on the front page were stolen from each other. I'm new on this website and I'm interested in what it was like when other users started playing Roblox. I was inactive from late 2013 until late 2017, so I'm genuinely curious on what it was like, not only because I was inactive, but to also learn what type of experience others had with Roblox. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and I hope to hear what Roblox was like when YOU started your Robloxian journey.

I've been playing roblox since 4/22/11. My original account is named "Tomglittershore" That name was made because that was the username I had in the game called "Free Realms" if anyone here knows what that game is. On 5/13/11 I decided I wanted a new username so I made a new account, it's called "misterpaws" I still have that account till this day but it's not my main anymore because I got hacked in 2014 and lost it but I was able to get it back in 2017.

roblox was well, a lot better back then than it is currently now. It wasn't just about having robux, nobody back then begged for robux, and people didn't dress stupid either. You either dressed like "swag" clothing. Or dressed in the default noob outfit. As soon as 2014 came that's when the UI changed, and I still don't like the changes. I prefer the 2012-2013 layout over the 2006-2011 layout though.

Games weren't as cancerous as they are now too, there are some pretty fun games that I played back then and some are still open now.

- Canoe without a Paddle

- Ro - Island

- Check point racing

- Hospital Roleplay

- Iron Cafe

- Plane Wars

Now games are literally garbage in 2020. The only good game that I don't hate is Jailbreak, that's a good game.

Some other things we had back then was click to walk, no safechat, and if you weren't 13 or older you couldn't talk in the game either. Way better than the garbage we have now called "safechat".

But yeah to sum it up roblox is garbage. The end.

I had the same opinion but roblox has really evolved in terms of quite literally everything, admit it, you wouldn't think there would be 1.6 million players at a game at once

I joined in 2014.

-Literally EVERYONE had a shaggy, with trend shirts and pants
-The chat was on the bottom left
-The games weren't as good, but atleast they weren't always copies of eachothers
-Tix
-The website was different, the most noticeable change is the avatar page
-Leaderboards section on game pages (most of the time it was broken/ not used, which is why I believe they removed it)
-Obbies, tycoons, cart ride tycoons, prison life, mad paintball, rpg's, and roleplay games were pretty much the only games you would play

That's pretty much all I can think of right now
